Semo opaque dark brown beer, untidy bubbly tan head. Light palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy dark malts, touches of dark chocolate and cream. Pretty fruity, almost Coca Cola and Dr Pepper with a little woody bitterness. Trace of bitter brett. Smooth finish. Quite likely infected but it's no disaster here.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very nice, lots of roasted malts, dark chocolate, bit dusty, alcoholic touch, very promising smell. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: nice roast up front, bitter, bit hoppy, coffee grit, pretty good one!

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted malt upfront, with a hint of sweetness, and light espresso. Flavour is rich and roasted, with medium roasted malt, light espresso, a hint of hops, and low sweetness to balance. Roasty and rounded. Solid stuff.

Bottle from Wickedestman, many thanks! Pitch black with a thick, creamy, lasting, beige head. Pretty viscous pour. Salty liquorice, cherries, tobacco. Pretty astringent. Some toasted rye and a dry bitter finish.

Flaske spandert av Rune og delt 1 Aug 17. Svart. Kjempehøyt mokkafarget tett skum som daler sakte. God sjokoladearoma med innslag av røyk. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken kompleks. Røyk. Kaffe. Sjokolade. Pikant tørr ettersmak. Alkoholen godt integrert.

330ml bottle shared with Finn. Espresso head with fine duration over a near-black body. Crocheted lacing. Nicely roasted chocolate malty aromas with a backbone of dark dough. Rich grainy chocolate flavours, doughy, with a backdrop of dried fruits. Smoothly roasted malty ending, not overly sweet. Full bodied. Excellent, well-crafted stout. (Tromsø 01.08.2017).
