SLOTH Belgian-style Imperial Stout is deliberately dark as hell. The pour is slow and sluggish. Its head is menacing, becoming torn and tattered Belgian lace on the sides of the glass as you cautiously consume this brew—sip by insidious sip.
The aroma is sweet from heavy malt and big alcohol with notes of vanilla, coconut and whiskey from the oak. The depth & breadth of roasted malt flavors loiters on the palate while the robust finish lingers, well, forever.

RBWG 2010. Pours black with brown head. Aromas of roasted malts and chocolate. Flavors of roasted malts, whisky, chocolate and vanilla. Full body with mild carbonation.

RBWG’10 cheers to JW77 for this one. Pours deep oily black, mocha head. Aroma lots of chocolate malts, grainy. Flavors, roasted malts, possibly some dark berries, dark roast and cocoa nibs, touch of coffee and mocha, silky chocolate palate with nice coffee finish. This is a lot of yum.

RBWG@RLRL-22oz bottle-pours a light brow head and black color and sheets the glass. Aroma is dark malt-licorice/anise. Taste is dark malt-licorice/anise, earthy/spice hops, dark fruit.

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting from Jsquire - Pours near black with a tan head and a big dark roast chocolate malt aroma. This full bodied brew is heavy on the dark roast malt, has some chocolate notes, and has a bit more bubbly feel than the usual imperial stout. It’s a very rich, enjoyable brew.
