dark amber color. Caramel, strawberries and lots of malt in the nose. Like hop head red but more malty. Full bodied. Decent stuff.

Draught at Bashamichi Taproom. Glowing red-brown color with a pillowy head. Aroma of chocolate and dried fruits, caramel. Sweet caramel and fruit flavor with a bitter finish. Nice, not so interesting.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear amber-red color with a thin light beige head that dissipates to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Hoppy aroma with some caramel malt notes. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, sweet malt and caramel. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
