Freedom Brewery have recently kegged a special variation of their Pilsner lager. 1000 litres of Freedom Pilsner was put into maturation on 15th October 2010 and left to condition at -1deg c for 9 months. It was then transferred into another maturation tank where Saaz hops were added (a process known as dry hopping). After another 4 weeks the liquid was put into kegs. This special beer, named Freedom 10-10 Pilsner (or The Forgotten Pils as it known in the brewery), was kegged without filtration and is now available to the on -trade whilst stocks last.

Keg at the Rake, RBESG 2011. Deep golden color, cloudy. Nice citrus hop nose, big noble hops, citrus and grass with light malt. Huge dry-hop flavor, green and grassy, citrus, with sweet honey malts. Very nice.
