Red with little pink head. Aroma is cherries, sour grape pips, some wood, bitter almond. Taste is sour fresh cherry, very dry. Very cherry-y. Sweet hints. Nice.

Vintage 2015, pours beautiful red, nose is funky cherries, jam. Palate is heavily carbonated cherry jam, very dry and sweet in the finish. Just a bit too carbonated, does not reach the intensity it could.

Bottle. Pours clear brilliant ruby. Aroma is cherry, strong bitter almond, cherry pit. Body is medium, quite sweet, strong cherry, cherry pit, quite sour and tart. Fruity dry palate. Good!

Bottle from Hopduvel. Red colour, pink foam. Very fruity nose of Schaarbeekse krieken. Tart, fruity, refreshing. Well balanced. Very refreshing. Lovely kriek.

Bottle shared at home. Semi-hazy ruby pour with a tall, fizzy, pink head. Notes of sour cherries, barnyard funk, light baking soda, tart grapes, a bit of apple cider. The aroma is more funky than the taste, and the bitter cherries are not as intense as other krieks, but at the same time it is super refreshing and tasty. The high carbonation adds to the drinkability.

Bottle split at CBC Islo, big thanks to Dirty Danny, 07/07/16. Rich cherry red with a well appointed crimson cap that soon dissipates. Nose is sharp cherry, light smoke, berry fizz, funky berry, light must. Taste comprises smoked straw, cherry cough drops, spice, cherry tinged straw, barnyard. Medium bodied, fine to spritzy carbonation, puckering close. Solid well balanced lambic.

Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co. Islington - London. Many thanks to Daniel. Pours unclear purple with a foamy, pink head. Stiff tart cherry in the nose, suggestions of acidity, funk. Smells great. Light sweet flavour, fresh and tart, nicely funky, with tangy cherries, light metallic bite, some earth. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Subtly drying in the finish, clean and acidic, with more tart cherry. Great beer.

2015er Bottle, bought at Rudat for 23.99€. Smooth sourish beginning. Intense, fresh. Lots of cherries, round and smooth. The horse-blanket is there, not too intense, very smooth in the back. The cherries are extreme sour tart, round and full. Sour and fresh, moderate bitter, intense fresh fruity!
