330 ml bottle, marked as Miyagase Hikari no Meruhen, bought @ Miyagase Christmas Festival. Although label is different, it is probably only relabelled for this event. Yes, even if the label behind the bottle is saying just "Sagami Beer" then fortunately the small label on the cap specifies: kölsch. Pours clear golden, with white head that is gone fast. Aroma is quite malty, grains and some fresh porridge. Taste is quite smooth and soft, grainy bread turning a bit sour. Aftertaste dry with some hop bitterness. Quite usual Japanese kölsch I would say - not my favourite style but I guess this one is executed OK, would prefer this over Asahi or Kirin any time.

Slightly fruity, crackery malt aroma with a touch of dry citrus. Rather bland, but nothing wrong. A bit creamy. Rather dark golden color, clear, with a low, fine head. Flavor malty, somewhat sweet, with grass and a touch of citrus and honey. fruity in a dry way, though not very bitter. Slightly at the end. drinkable but rather boring.
