Draught at Wachi. Very strange pale purple color with a fine pink head. Sweet grape aroma with a bit of hops. Wheat? Sweet-and-sour flavor with grapes absolutely dominating, some malt, wheat I suppose, grape seeds. Rather bland and unlively—much like a wine cooler. The idea here was using grapes from the top of Honshu in a beer made at the southern tip of Kyushu. Didn’t work, in my opinion. Completely un-beer-like.
