nice drinkable pale ale, higher in ABV that you expect but it doesnt come through, good hop balance to the burnt malt flavor, goes down easy and is a good beer for this brewer to build on, maybe change the name though.

An amber ale with a thick off head, lacing. Light herbaceous aroma of hops, dry hopped, a bit buttery. In mouth, a griany chalky malt with british hops, earthy, roasted grains, good bitterness. Medium bodied. Bottle at Lucky’s Lounge, Terminal A, Boston Logan Airport. July 1st, 2009.

Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours deep gold with thin tan head. The aroma has some roast and a few odd notes in the background like earthiness and plastic. The taste has sweet malts with some stickiness to go along with earthiness and spice hops. It ends with a touch of caramel and biscuit malts coming to the surface.

Thanks to JoeMcPhee for sharing - aroma of sweet honey, herbs, hops, and a bit of boiled vegetable - very sweet, and moderately vegetal - it even tastes a bit spiced, with some odd gingerbread characteristics - these flavors can’t be intentional, but they somehow work - still too sweet, though, with a tiny amount of herbal bitterness - fairly clean for a pale ale made in new england.

Bottled. Hazy bronze colour, rich head. Caramelly and sweet. Fairly soft with notes of spun sugar covered in piney hops. Finishes with marked resiny bitterness.

12oz bottle. Deep orange-brown color, looks filtered. Respectable creamy head. Big hoppy taste with a solid enough malt presence to balance it out. Thick and full bodied, with a sweet hop laced aftertaste. A good APA. definitely.

Very nice hazy copper coloured body witha super dense tan head and a hazy glow atop the beer - almost perfect! Aroma of fresh citrus and piney hops with some wheat, apricots and sugars - not much malt. Medium-bodied; Strong syrupy flavour with some fresh hops, nice malt, yeast and a lot of sugars following soon behind. Aftertaste shows a lot of caster sugar with a tiny bit of hops and not much else - interesting! Overall, a good beer - fairly light for the style ,which is to my liking, but the hops also don’t show up! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage on 12-July-2008, drunk on 11-August-2008.

Pours amber into a shaker. White head recedes to hug rim. Caramel and citrus aromas. Mild grapefruit and caramel with a lasting resin finish. Thin.
