Oct. ’14. On tap at the brewpub. The waitress told me its name as simply "Oktoberbier". It poured a bit hazy honey to orange body with small head. Pleasant, light caramel malt aroma with a touch of yeast and herbal hops. Flavor was lightly sweet, caramel and other simple toasted malt, typical for the style, then herbal hopped and quite yeasty, chalky, too. Medium, maybe even thinner in body. More elegant, almost fruity caramel was especially pronounced towards the end. A fine oktoberfest beer, although more body would really help it.

An amber beer, stronger than usual with lots of malt. Very rich, but also well hopped, and therefore better balanced than your usual Oktoberfest beer. Very nicely done stuff. Draught at the brewpub, Sept. 2006.
