On tap at the Fermentaria. Pours a cloudy yellow with small off white that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, lemon zest, funk, hay. Medium mouth with strong wheat, funk, oak, citrus, lingering dryness, really good.

[4/29/15] Draught at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen. Clear pale yellow. Aroma of some funk, fruitiness, spicy rye. Flavor is quite dry, spicy, mildly funky, with a bit of bitterness. Medium-bodied.

At the source: pours pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is funky, very fruity, a tad earthy, with abgood bit of lemon. Taste gets better as the warmth opens up some flavors. Slight sourness. Nice bit of yeast. A subtle hoppiness with an underlying bitterness that continues to the aftertaste. Subtle and good. Delicate.

Growler. Pours hazy golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is fresh cut field grass, black pepper, hay, a touch of lemon zest, hints of anise. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, grassy, herbal, peppery, a bit of lemony fruit. Medium body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, presumably from the oats. Not getting much rye influence.

Growler share in NYC. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma is fairly relaxed, some dry white bread, sourdough, lemon zest. Light sweet flavor with baked cereal, bitter hay, lemon pith. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with faint lemony twang, some bitter grains, cereal, straw, dry baked white bread. Fine.
