Draught at the GJBF 2009. Same base as their European Dark Lager, plus 3% roasted malts, and using Chimay’s yeast strain. Doesn’t taste very Belgian, more like a dunkel weizen, although there is no wheat it in. Weird, spicy, a little funky. Don’t know if I really like it. Estery, wheaty without wheat. Interesting and dry, almost champagne-like, with chocolate, caramel, banana. All right.
