Bottle from Julius Meinl in Vienna. Slightly darker color than other Austrian Heller Bocks, although still light. Not as rich and malty as the two other Austrian bocks I tried so far, but still rather nice. Not as sweet either. Very drinkable and nice, but no real distinguishing characteristics.

Bottled(500ml). -Dark golden coloured, small airy white head, low carbonation, bready alcoholic nose. The taste is basicly the same with notes of green apple in the finish. Pretty standard bock.

Bottled. Golden colour. Pours thick with near no head. Aroma of raisiny, papery malt. The restrained sweetness along with it's deep soft maltiness makes it a chewy, true-to style bock. The bitterness is fairly low, and even though it might lack some complexity it is a very pleasant malt accented beer.
