The first of a series of special beers each one brewed with a single variety of hop. Cascade hops are grown in the USA and work very well in this light golden ale, giving a crisp dry bitterness and a typical citrus and grapefruit aroma.

Cask at the Thirsty Scholar, Manchester. Very light blond in color, with a low head. Fruity, cascade-driven nose, and it also smells as if there may be wheat in there. Fruity flavor with good maltiness. An amazing hop finish. Well balanced, interesting light ale. Served slightly colder than usual on a hot summer day, and it worked well. A good, full-flavored blond ale.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty, while the flavor besides being sweet has a light hoppy touch, leading to a dry bitter end. The body is thin.
