Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal is generously hopped for a long, spicy finish. An excellent accompaniment to grilled meats and rich sauces.

Aroma of sweet red fruits and light hop. Slight candy, fructose taste. Some light hop bitterness in the finish.

Bottle at the Moosebead bar, Malmo. Weak bitter malty aroma leading to a nice sweet bitter slightly metallic and somewhat fruity flavour. A quite unusual beer it must be said and a big surprise.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Kopparfärgad vätska. Doft av kåda och tallbarr. Lätt beska. Bra ale motsvarande stilen

355 ml bottle from Alko, Finland. Clear copper red pour with a quite long-lasting rocky off-white head. Medium retention. The aroma is hoppy; it’s mainly floral, but also pine and grapefruit. There is also a hint of caramel. The flavour is characterized by bitterness and light sweetness. The flavour is piney, but also somewhat floral and malty. The long finish is dry and bitter. Medium body with average carbonation. Overall the taste is not as good as the aroma. It’s nevertheless a nice beer that I wouldn’t mind drinking again.

35,5 cl bottle (5,6%) @ home, BBE 06/2014
Aroma is fruity and malty with some resin and caramel. Flavour is hoppy and rather malty with caramel, toffee, resin and biscuits. I prefer this one as cold as my refigerator – it becomes too malty and sweet when it gets warm.

Bottle pour into a plastic motel room cup. Nice copper color and nice malty, caramel taste, but the spiciness tasted like pepper to me. . . maybe I need to rate again in a real glass.

From a 355ml bottle on 15/5/2012. Pours a dark copper with a biggish head. Has quite a sharp, metallic nose with some caramel and fruit notes. The flavour is better, with a solid caramel malt backbone, some nuts, citrus fruit and a medium to firm, quite long hop bitterness. A nice ale.

One of the first of this category at Systembolaget several years ago. Some time since last taste of this as well. Pours amber towards brown, high carbonation. Peach but also metal in the aroma. Slightly smokey malt, medium hoppiness. Still enjoyable.
