Pours cloudy golden orange color with thin quickly diminishing off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts tart citrusy with passion fruit note, following is grainy, funky and vinous, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild grassy bitter. vintage bottle, bottled may 2015 no best before date. tasted march 2024 reall really nice betty wild ale aroma with subtle fruitiness from the passion fruit.I did not expect that. some of the yeasty and bretty notes from the really big belgian strong ales have found themselves in here. super funky. also fainter notes of white wine barrel, leather, yeast. complex and, for a 5.0% beer, crazy intense aroma. flavor is tart and sour and yeasty and woody , mild and not crazy wild ale , with a good fruity flavor adding the the base sour beer. great composition with good balance between leather and wood and the brett and the sourness and the fruits. This one ages well. No way I would be able to tell it was 9yrs old. also behaved perfectly when opened.

Bottle. Pours hazy juicy orange with a small white head. Aromas of brett, barnyard, lactic, pineapple, citrus, lemon, peach candy, light passion. Taste is bretty, dry, light lactic, peach candy, pineapple, citrus, mandarin. Nice!
