Looks like peach juice, hazy, golden-yellow, pretty flat. Aroma is yeasty, lots of spices, some cloves and soft peach juice. Fruity and yeasty flavours dominate, loads of yeast spices - and I mean loads, coming out also in taste. There are some unpolished edges to it but overall not bad though. Re-rate, tap @ Keyaki Autumn 2017: Nice whitish momo colour pour. Beautiful. Somewhat usual weizen nose, cloves, maybe a hint of peach, some banana. Spice tingle. Full weizen body, yeast is strong, juicy. Drinkability is quite high, yeast still strong, bit spicy. Decent creamy mouthfeel. Good fruity weizen.

Tap at CBM Koenji. One of the most popular Minoh seasonal beers. Hazy, muddy peach colored cream with a medium-sized off-white head. Very strange nose: sulphur with some blue cheese and light banana. Taste is much better: light banana with big clove and spice and lovely peach on the finish. Slightly rich and creamy mouthfeel with peach all over the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kokusan Momo Weizen (国産桃ヴァイツェン) on 21 Aug 2015 at 21:02 - Score: 7

Bottle from Asahiya served in a weizen glass. It pours a cloudy light gold that looks very much like peach juice with a soapy look head of foam. It has a big sweet peach & popcorn aroma - bizarre. The taste is the same this is the beer where I have gotten the most POPCORN flavor/aroma in my life. It is not really unpleasant just incredibly weird, popcorn, peach and light clove spiciness? I am disappointed in you Minoh... not sure if I can finish it or if it’ll be a drain pour...

Draught at McLaughlin’s. Cloudy dark gold with a fine, thick head. Sour peach aroma, banana, too much diacetyl. Sweet and buttery. Complicated more than complex. Rich and too creamy and candy-like. Somewhat sloppy and undefined. Heard that the last keg was better with less diacetyl.
