Tap at Bier Cafe Jan. Dark amber colour, small golden head. Aroma is caramel, quite malty. Taste similar, caramel, toffee, sweetness. Nice enough if a little unexciting.

Pours hazy brown, just a few bubbles, sweet caramel nose with a bit of roast. Taste is full, has some roast and caramel. Bitter. Decent body and flavour bouquet for this relatively low abv. Pretty enjoyable as it is.

On tap at CCB Sapporo. Slightly cloudy brown pour with a small beige head. Nose has some cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla and whiskey as it warms up. Taste is more of the same with the whiskey being pleasantly noticeable. Nice smooth finish. Body is a little light, but easy drinking.

On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. Clear dark ruby brown. Fudge, toffee & caramel aroma. Surprisingly bitter, dark cacao, some fudge. Alright.

Draught at the Craft Beer Festival in Ichinoseki, Iwate. Nice deep amber color. Malty caramel aroma with chocolate. Rich caramel flavor, but thin body. Ok fruit with a harsh bitterness in the finish. OK but not so interesting.

Med brown color, No dectable nose. Weak earthy malty mouth with a hint of whisky and a dry finish.
