Bottle @ Pre Thermostat Incident share. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of vanilla, bread, chocolate, roasted malts, light ashy, tar, burned wood, subtle hoppy notes. Taste has lots of sweet vanilla fudge, roasted malts, dark chocolate, ashy, malty, licorice. Super oldschool yet fudgy and quite sweet, balanced out with some roasty bitterness.

Power tasting at Salesforce, bottle; March 28 2018 vintage
Pitch black colour, dark brown head. Smooth, sweet without being thick or cloying, perfect balance of dark chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, bourbon.
Excellent.

500ml bottle at Sales Force (THANK YOU, BRIAN!!!). Vintage 2018. Appearance: very dark brown with a brown head. Aroma: bourbon notes, some berries and roasted malt. Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet, some seeds, some booziness. Overall: nice beer, but it is definitely not worse the hype around it.

Dark brown, thin head. Rich taste, lots of bourbon, toasty chocolate notes. Quite sweet, with a bit of brown sugar, I guess from the barrel. Nice, quality imperial stout.

Thanks Virby44 for sharing! Wine glass showing dark brown with sparse latte colored foam. The nose shows bourbon forward with smoky notes of dark chocolate . The palate is lightly carbonated and full bodied with an oily slick mouthfeel. Dark chocolate forward with notes of fig and a light background of bourbon. Dark chocolate bitterness with more dark chocolate on the finish.

Jet black with a lasting little tan head. Roasted aroma with licorice, chocolate, dark sugar, bourbon, dried fruit and dessert wine. Sweet and rich, complex roasted flavour with awesome balance. This is how sweet, barrel aged imperial stout is done.

No stout. Chlebowy nieco melanoidynowo. Kwaczeko tez jest. Srednio ciala. Bez szalenstw acz smqczny. Mam wrazenie sladu aldehydu? 3.7
