There’s a place just south they call Frog’s Hollow, brewin’ pumpkin ale in Fall, and they only speak in whispers of the name. There’s a lady they say who has the secret, of spices picked just right. With a crying shout, she’ll knock it out, and hand you the Frog’s delight.

12 ounce can. Amber orange pour. No discernible head. Aroma of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Flavor is pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices and brown sugar. It really tastes like pumpkin pie. Quite nice flavors throughout. Some booziness in middle. A hint of brown sugar in finish.

Bomber from Tavour. Aroma is full of pumpkin spices--clove, nutmeg, cinnamon. Pours hazy amber with a collapsing bone-white head. Taste is sweet, spicy and a bit savory. Flavors of those pie spices and some pie crust maybe. Nice one. Above average for style.

Bomber fromTavour. Pour is nothing special, medium amber, bubbly head quickly disappears. Aroma is full and mostly pumpkin, more of the fruit and less of the spice. Taste also reflects these qualities, with a bit more of the spice coming through, although not overwhelming, more of an accent. Nice feel, slick and oily. Finishes with a smidge of warmth.

Bit thin but good flavor and smooth, easy to drink. Actually too thin.
