Draught, 9.6% at Warpigs. Vinous aroma, hint of coffee. Black colour. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is sweet, very sweet actually. Roasted and bready with lots of lactose. Too sweet for me.

Draught @ Warpigs, Copenhagen. Pours cloudy dark coffee brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, with notes of caramel malt and touches of smoke, roast and chocolate. Sweetish flavour of chocolate malt, enhanced by boozy and coffeeline notes. Hints of liquorice. Warming alcohol presence. Decent.

On tap at Warpigs. Black with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate and green apples, with dried fruit and a touch of vanilla. Sweet roasted flavour with caramel, toffee, toasted sugar and spices. Some bitterness, and quite notable alcohol in the finish.

Draught @ WarPigs. Pours pitch black with a small mocha head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, slightly fruity and estery with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toasted cereal, fried banana with dark chocolate, baked pears, dark roast coffee, ammonium chloride, moist soil, alcohol and glue. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty. Mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, tiny roasted astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, fried banana, baked pears, dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, moist soil and alcohol. Bit too estery with heavy pear / banana influences. Another WarPigs beer that shows tons of potential but fails to go all the way.

[4/30/15] Draught at Warpigs in Copenhagen. Black with a brown head. Aroma of roast, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and hops. Bitter and slightly sweet flavor, roasty, with licorice, coffee, hops and alcohol. Full-bodied.

Mini Copenhagen bimble with rlgk and _Angst_. Warpigs. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and a little viscous. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth and rich dark malts, creamy. Nice touches of dark chocolate and mild coffee. Little estery sweetness before a smooth and soft finish. Mild malt roast and esters linger on. Tasty.

200ml draught at the brewpub in Copenhagen. Shiny naked surface. Jet black body. Leafy hops on the nose together with black malts. Taste of ash, liquorice, black chocolate, vanilla, and earth. Prolonged ending. Thick in the mouth. Full bodied. A very good one (29.04.2015).

Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, sweet, coffee, chocolate and licorice finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
