Seems to have changed since the older rating on here. On tap at CBM Koenji. Slightly cloudy golden straw color with a modest white head. Slight floral hop and grain on the nose. As it warms up some fruit comes out: banana, citrus and passion fruit. Nice carbonation. Sweet on the palate with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Not bad.

Muddy light brown / tan color. Very small head that quickly turned to lace. Like no pilsner I have ever seen. Very cloudy, muddy with yeast. A thick, dark brown deposit was on the bottom of the bottle. Strong yeast aroma, very fruity, with nice malt backing and a touch of hops. Rich malt flavor, quite sweet. Very fruity, bananas, melon, and reasonably good hops. Very thick, full-bodied and low on carbonation. A touch sour. Sweet-and-sour finish with a nice hoppy underbelly. Very rich and yeasty to the end. It is a little too thick and syrupy. Interesting enough but I am not sure what they are really trying for. Very Japanese…
