Mahogany brew shows life with tangerines and citrus notes on the nose. Starts hoppy, middle is hoppy with subtle bitterness, but I am left wondering what happened to the malt? Isn’t this a brown ale? No malt backbone at all and stylistically challenged. Still with the refreshing, subtly bitter finish it is a pleasant brew. That I won’t deny.
