Copper amber with a nice tan head. Floral and fruity aroma with some caramel malts. Flavor has a ton of bitter hops but very little flavor, actually. A bit of fruit and floral with a light maltiness. The finish is almost annoyingly bitter since it seems like it comes out of no where. A decent brew but I wouldn’t do two of these. Re-rate from bottle. Much better than the previous pint I had. The citrus and hops flavor really comes though in the bottle. A bit of pine, also. Very bitter finish. Rating reflects the bottle version.

Bottle at the brewery. Dark amber color, strong hop aroma, with full amber/caramel malt. Great malt character, rich and full. Fruity with buttery edge, great hops. Great balance: very rich and very hoppy. Long hop and amber malt finish that turns into a long burning hop sensation. Dark fruits throughout. Excellent.

Fairly straight foward dark amber IPA. Grapefruit upfront, caramel in the support role, though it gives fairly weak support. IPA for begginners.
