Bottle from Yamaoka. A seasonal. Dark amber with a very low head (for something called Belgian!). Amber malt aroma, with dry hops, earth, and a definite Belgian or Biere de garde yeast aroma. Slightly fruity, grassy, a touch of sweet dark fruit. Rather sweet, fruity, flavor, cherries, earth, dryish hops. Similar to a Belgian or French amber. Decent balance and complexity, very well balanced actually. Not a killer flavor, but very nice. Dry, hoppy finish; very earthy.

Bottled (as Minoh Seasonal Belgian Pale Ale). Hazy brownish amber, creamy head. Lactic tangerine aroma. Sweet and medium bodied with careful, fragile rounded maltiness. Lactic and orangey. No bitterness.
