Throw your expectations out the window. We know Stouts are supposed to be dark, but what fun is that? Really. Casper White Stout is a white buffalo standing out from the herd – a diamond in the rough, white chocolate – you get it. Distinctively golden in color with big Pilsen malt flavor, and a touch of hops. Your next step? Pour it in your glass. Available in 6pack Cans and on Nitrogen Tap.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours a golden body with a white head. Aroma is hazelnut and cream soda and yeah... not very much in the way of a stout. Taste is sweet and also full of hazelnut. I don’t really know what makes it a stout... Tastes kind of janky and artificial.

Can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear gold with a half finger of white head. Aroma of chocolate milk and dry nestle quick powder. Taste is light bitter. Follows aroma in the start and finish with a hint of citrus right in the middle. Odd, but good. I can drink a lot more of this.

Purchased at Bottles & Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed while watching Bad Grandpa which is just decent. Appearance is a slightly cloudy gold with a light white head. Aroma of chocolate, sweetness, cocoa, caramel, lots of vanilla, smell is like candy. Taste is decent, white chocolate is the prominent flavor, along with vanilla. I think this style would go well with more lactose, it's just a bit odd to me.

From can. Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of white chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, caramel, toffee, malt, nuts and dough. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Certainly not what it seems from the appearance.
