Baptist Göller war in der Alten Freyung für die Landwirtschaft zuständig, während Firmengründer Joseph und Magarethe Göller sich um die Brauerei und den Gasthof kümmerten. Überliefert ist bis heute Baptists „Schlitzohrigkeit“ sowie seine Leidenschaft zum Schafkopfen.
Baptist Helles ist untergärig, weich, mild-würzig und vor allem süffig!

Bottle, 500 ml at Ambasada. Clear golden with medium white head. Bit of a wet cardboard, malty, some bready notes, sweetish, low carbonation. Light to medium bodied.

Bottle from The Beer Cave. Clear golden body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain and rich tea biscuit. Flavour of white bread and grassy hops. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Bready and nourishing.

500ml bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, grassy, herbal, doughy bread, biscuit, touch of sweetness and some floral accents. The taste is fairly robust malts, crisp, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, lightly toasted grain, cereal, doughy white bread, rich tea biscuit, some grass and herbal accents with a drying finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Balanced and quenching. Nice serviceable helles bier.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, grainy nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, light cereals and bready with bitterish finish.

Göller Helles 'Baptist', vom Faß im Hotel-Restaurant Goger, Augsfeld. - Goldgelb, klar. - Antrunk satt getreidig hellmalzig und schön malzsüß mit Vanille und feiner Gewürznote (Muskatnuß?). Milde aber nicht langweilige herbale Hopfung mit feiner, leicht trockener Orangenschale. Mild rezent, vollmundig, kremig. Im Abgang milde aber feine Hopfenherbe. - Sehr schönes, individuelles Helles. Fläschla (kindly delivered by MoritzF): Clear, golden to deep golden, small white foamy layer, clean sweetish-grainy nose with dusty and honeyish spots, hayish-herbal hops in the background; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly medium-bodied, pretty soft; slightly lingering sweet fruity-grainy finish with a balancing bitter aftertaste.
