Fläschla (kindly delivered by MoritzF): Clear, golden to deep golden, small white foamy layer, clean sweetish-grainy nose with dusty and honeyish spots, hayish-herbal hops in the background; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly medium-bodied, pretty soft; slightly lingering sweet fruity-grainy finish with a balancing bitter aftertaste. A pretty decent Helles...

Pour is a uber crystal clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is sweet malt a little sulfur and wet paper bag. Flavor is more sweet malt but there is some butter churring here. The bottle may be off but this was a super thin rep of a style this is thin to begin with.

Trevlig helles. Gott

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines Sheffield. Birthday gift from the missus. Crystal clear pale gold. Thin but lasting white foam. Nose has floral hop. Bready malt. Some sourness. Taste is moderately sweet with a slightly spicy bitterness. Clean and crisp. Foamy carbonation. Dries out somewhat on the finish. Does what a Helles does.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, grainy, pale malty aroma, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is strawy, grainy, pale malty with little residual sweetness, mildly bitter, slightly grassy, hoppy counterpart. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Clean, drinkable - nice.
