Cask at the brewery. Malty, lightly roasty, nutty nose. Nitty, grainy flavor, toasty and a bit roasty. Slight grain husk bitterness, but not much in the way of hops. Interesting but not my thing.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Low key malty aroma. Light brow or dark amber. Thin, slightly blotchy, white head. Light bitter. Underlying hints of sweetness - caramel. Herbal edge, almost a salted caramel element. Thin bodied and on the light side. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Better than expected - a lively refreshing bitter.
