Well done for being organic. Hazy yellow/slightly golden pour with a lasting white head. Aromas of yeast, grain/malt, hops, fruit. Taste is yellow fruit/citrus, herbs, hops, yeast. Decent bitter finish. Not your standard Belgian tripel, but a really good one – enjoyed it.

33 cl bottle after a walking tour of Brussels, a brew recommended by Christophe, our guide. The beer was served up in a Belgian beer glass, appropriate of course. The taste was yellow fruit, grain, yeast, citrus and white bread. I thought there was equal amounts of bitterness and sweetness but the sensation was raw, a bit ragged around the edges. A decent enough tripel, at the end of the day.

Hazed orange with a lasting just off white cap. Nose is stewed fruits, dates, light spice, herb, breads, orange peel. Taste comprises fruit cake, orange marmalade, yeast esters, sugars, prunes, raisins, straw. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with a balanced rising boost. Solid well balanced and quaffable Tripel.
