Blond and copper-colored, Jambe-de-Bois is a powerful and full-bodied beer. It has a scent of ripe banana and a subtle blend of old varieties of aromatic hops. As for taste, the malt dominates, supported by a long and delicate bitterness. It has 8% alcohol.

On tap at the 14th Brugs Bier Festival, Brugge, Belgium. A golden coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, yeasty, tropical fruit taste/aroma. Decent triple.

Almost clear golden. Aroma is dried grass light toast popcorn light honey and toast with a whiff of raisin. Taste is rich hoppy grassy with a bitter backbone and a nice yeasty somewhat malty base. Incredibly hoppy and bitter finish. Interesting.

‘t Schrijvershuisje/Hengstdijk. Als dit is hoe een tripel
Kan zijn is de rest toch matige meuk. Prachtig granig, droog, gruizig, vol en complex, drinkt geweldig weg. Super spul hoor. Het moment helpt ook wel mee denk ik.

Large foamy white head stayed on a hazy gold body. Belgian yeast & sweet orange aroma. Medium bodied, sharp & clean in the back. Bitter, hoppy, orange, yeast & spiced tastes with a peppery finish. Just how a Tripel should be, clean, dry, bitter & lightly hopped. Excellent
