First brewed in 2003. Pale in color but packed with flavor, Mojo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop creates a big, grapefruit-like citrus flavor and aroma, making Mojo a very zesty IPA that's crisp and refreshing.

Very grapefruity nose with a hint of wood and light caramel. Rich bitterness. Woody, grapefruity. Evenly balanced and very drinkable.

Bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours a clear copper with lots of bubbles and a large frothy head. Floral and piney hop aroma. Just like the pale ale, the hops are a little less assertive than they should be. Ammonia/soap in the taste. Watery.

Pours clear amber with a big white head. Strong pine aroma. Flavor stars sweet and malty and finishes dry with a strong hoppy taste. Pretty good IPA. Light to medium body with a sticky, oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Would probably have again.

Nice frothy white head that leaves a retty good lacing. Has an amber body. Not the strongest IPA aroma, but it is pleasant with the piny hops. Pretty mellow taste that is somewhat bitter. Nice hops taste, but it has a kind of weird finish.

12 oz. bottle at Old Chicago overland Park, KS. Pour is clear orange, with a one inch off white head. Aroma of some grapefruit rind and citrus. Taste has some initial bitterness with a more orange citrus in the body. There is some malt in the body, balancing things out. Decent enough beer, though nothing to get too terribly excited about.

Poured a near transparent deep yellow with a white head that settled to about a 1 finger depth and laced the glass. Smells wonderful, sweet and sugary like flowers and cinnamon toast, but also lemons and grass like a traditional hop aroma. Flavor is the same, sugary sweet with hints of flowers and herbs (lavender?). Bitterness of the hops is only evident at the very finish. Crisp and clean and sweeter and more complicated than your usual IPA. Good session beer as well, hides a slightly higher ABV well.

Bottle. Great citrus hop aroma. Pale amber gold color with a frothy white head that laces. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation bite. Starts with citrus hop, backed by a moderate amount of malt. Almost juicy. The finish is nicely bitter with some citrus hanging around.

Bottle Poures a slightly hazy light orange/amber. Big thick creamy off white head an d great lasting sticky lacing. Aroma was a little stale and cardboardy lacking some of the bright citruysy hops I expect from the style. Flavor was pretty straight forward. Light malts and some bitterness but not as much hop flavor as I was loking for. A significant lingering bitter trailer and a fialry dry finish.

On tap at a great place in Pittsburgh, Mad Mexcan. Same old pale yellow american beer color. Head starts big then fades to a one quarter inch froth. Has big and small bubbles. Big smell of hops impact. A very hoppy initial flavor impression. I am not disappointed, hoppy as ever, just what I was expecting. Right on target for this style. Grapefruit rind galore. Finish is lingering and lasting. Gimmie a chaser.

Bottle: Clear, gold pour with lots of foamy white head. Nose of strong citrus and floral hops, a little pine. Taste is real dry with floral hops, pine, lighter on the citrus hops. Light sweetness before a crisp, hop bitters in the tail. A good IPA, but sort of non-descript.
