Location: 22 oz bottle from Shop Rite - Hoboken, 9/12/10

Aroma: The nose is immediately grapefruit, pine, and resiny hops, with some subtle toast and flowers
Appearance: Pours a slightly cloudy orange color with a thick, creamy white head leaving lots of lace
Flavor: It is quite flavorful with some sweet grapefruit/caramel accompanied by a nice hoppy bitterness
Palate: The drinkability of this one is rather high, medium bodied, and somewhat sticky on the mouth
Overall Impression: I liked this one quite a bit. From the initial whiff, I had a good feeling, and I was not disappointed. It drinks really well, just a straight-up enjoyable DIPA. It has a nice complexity of flavor. Really quality stuff.

Courtesy of markwise. Pours gold with slight haze and nice white head. The aroma is mild with spice and then floral hops with slick smelling malts off in the background. The taste is chewy malts as well as pine and floral hops that pick up more and more resiny hop bitterness. It stays that way into the finish which is a good thing. Tasty IIPA.

Draught at New Beers Distributors, New York
Cloudy blond color. Good hoppy aroma, resiny. The hop flavor instead is grassy, earthy; the hop covers some dry malt flavor. Interesting.

Sampled on draft at the Sharp Edge Beer Emporium this beer poured a bright golden-amber color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that lingers. Very heavily carbonated. The flavor was tart, tangy, bitter and had a strong grapefruit presence and light floral hops. The beer was sweet and syrupy with a malty middle. The finish was long, tangy, fruity and sweet. Medium body. Well done.

Bomber. Cloudy pale gold body with a fizzy white head, mostly diminishing. Citrusy aroma of grapefruit, pineapple and orange. No malts to speak of in the nose. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Dry. The hops are upfront from beginning to end — very juicy. And yet there’s enough sweetness to keep this from being a glass of bitter grapefruit juice. I was unimpressed at first, but the more I drank, the more I enjoyed and appreciated it. Nice.

Sampled it at the Whole Foods on Bowery in NYC. Really, really good beer. Nice copper color and a fine white head. Strong hoppy aroma. Strong hoppy taste, dry and mildly bitter. Delicious.

The body pours a clear light gold with a tall, white head. Dry, earthy hop aroma. Smooth, lightly bitter flavor profile with enough malt underneath to balance. nice bitter finish.

22oz bottle–pours a rich off white head and hazy orange color. Aroma is pine/orange hops, some malt. Taste is pine/orange hops with some bitter, secondary sweet medium malt. Thanks to decaturstevo&jwc215 for sharing.

Hey, that’s a nice-looking beer! - hazy glowing orange, with a thick, soapy, lasting head - resinous hop aroma, herbs, a light minty character, orange and lime - low carbonation, full in the mouth - strong hop bitterness on either end - semi-sweet honey and citrus fruits through the middle - some pineapple, mango, kaffir lime leaves - lingering grapefruit and earthy hop goodness - another great beer in this series.
