Aromas are roast dark malt cocoa vanilla minerals hint of metallic. Flavors are similar to nose more sweet than bitter metallic comes out more as does the roast. Not a bad beer but the metallic thing hurts it.

Keg at the beer merchants tap. A clear dark brown chestnut coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is sweet, hickory wood, vanilla, cakey malts mellow roast. Palate is semi sweet, lactose, thin, oily, no condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet woody roast, vanilla sponge, burnt cake. Ok.

Tap @mbcc 2018. Poured near black with a thin brown head. Aroma has roastedness, vanilla and chocolate. Long finish. Surprisingly light. Decent, like the roastyness.

can, rated in early 2017 - Near black pour. The aroma is roast malt, cocoa, coffee, and vanilla. The flavor is on the sweet side with cocoa and roast malt with the vanilla more noticeable in the finish. Full body. Very good.
