HUNTER, our creamy double milk stout with cocoa nibs and lactose is a beer so sumptuous it demands respect. In part two of our HUNTER VERTICAL SERIES, we added whole vanilla beans to complement its roastiness with an elegant rounded flavor.

CBC weekend opener, morning tasting @Ronny & Alex’s appartment - cheers team, 30/04/15. Pitch black topped with a decent tan swirl. Nose is roast malt, earthy, slight lactic ring, chocolate, light vinegar notes. Taste comprises chocolate, rich vanilla streak, toffee, caramel, roast malt. Medium bodied, oily feel, sweet close. Decent enough sweet stout.

Mini tasting at Ronnie’s (rlgk) Flat, Copenhagen. Opaque black - brown beer, decent pale tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has mild fine carbonation. Vanilla led dark malts, some dark chocolate and a trace of roast malt. Light semi dry finish. Mild roast linger. Good but the vanilla is not that well integrated.

65 cl bottle @ hotel room, Copenhagen
Aroma has oaty tones, vanilla, cocoa and some licorice. Also chocolate. Flavour has artifical vanilla tones, milk chocolate and mild licorice tones. Quite artifical feeling here – but I like this anyway.

Bottle shared. Pours near black with a short lived brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate, vanilla is actually pretty light behind the huge chocolate, a light roast and toffee. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
