Tap at the brewpub. Faint nose, bready, some roast, light fruit. Cloudy amber-gold. Some stone fruit in the flavor, grains, bready, touch of caramel and toasty. Earthy, dry finish.

Vielen Dank an Koelschtrinker! Leicht trübe orangegoldene Farbe, ordentliche leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht fruchtig hopfig, getreidig malzig. Geschmack leicht nussig malzig, dezent hopfig bitter, geringe Süße.

Enjoyed on a gorgeous early fall day in the lovely city of Heidelberg...at Vetters of course. Appearance is a cloudy amber gold with a thin white head. Aroma is light malt, not too syrupy like other marzen brews I have had. Taste goes down with more of a malty finish, but retains more of light lager qualities. This one is just decent and there are better brews at this place for sure.

Draught at the brauhaus
Hazy red-amber color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, malt, cookies, some honey and some hop. Sweetish caramel flavor, notes of chestnut honey; the final is less sweet and complete, a bit candyish; medium-low bitterness. Well brewed, pleasant.
