Bottle pour at the Frankfurt Apfelwein Festival 2018. Shiny, bright golden color, flat. Aroma of warm baked apples, lemon, some minerals. Nice light sweetness in the flavor then turns tart and minerally. Silky, soft body, falt. Good stuff indeed. Not sure what the previous raters were drinking. this is class.

Süßlicher Apfelbeginn. Spritzig, leichte Noten von Alkohol, süffig, angenehme hintergründige Säure. Süffig, mittellanger Nachhall, nett. 10/9/8/9/9/8

Bottle at a Tasting. A clear pale yellow colour. Aroma of sourish apples, dry riped apples. Taste of mild sweet riped apples, sourish apples, sulfits.

Nice dark golden-reddish colour in the glass, fruity and slightly tart in the nose. The cider starts fresh and very dry. Nice fruit there, but not too deep (as Jonagold is no cider-apple). Sourish-fruity, a bit astringent on the tongue, few tannins. The aftertaste is sourish-fruity, very dry-sour, a bit bitter, fruity and round.
