Clear golden colour, apple juice, a colour reminding of something you might put in a little cup at your doctor. Light alcoholic aroma, pears. Light sweet flavour, pear, caramel. Light fizzy. Finish pear, caramel, soft candy sugar notes. Bit older bottle but definitely not bad.

Bottle pour at L. Thal in Sachsenhausen. Seem,ed a bit aged. Golden-orange color, clear. Nose of pears, butter, caramel, soft and lovely. Light and soft, stewed pears, light honey and caramel, slightrly tannic finish. Not sure how mine might have differed from the earlier ratings—probably well cellar-aged, but this was very nice.

Geringe Karbonisierung, eher trockener, mittellanger Nachhall. Gefällt! 10/9/10/10/9/10

The perry starts fruity, tart and not too sweet. Very perry-typical. The mainpart is full-bodied, tart, fruity with hints of pear-sweetness The aftertaste is tart-bitter, fruity-dry and slightly carbonated. A very interesting thing. Nice tart without being too sweet, but not as deep or complex as I hoped. 10/12/10/10

Bottle (1000ml):Pale golden, unclear, mid-sized slowly collapsing white loose head, sweetish-fruity nose - pears and white grapes; sweetish flavour, some shy acidity underneath, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering sweetish fruity finish (peaches, pears and grapes), almost no tartness. Sweet, but still well quaffable…
