Tap at Kyoto Ji-Biiru Matsuri 2018. Cloudy pastel yellow. Relatively light ginger and mikan in the nose, with wheat. Crackery malt flavor is crisp and fruity and thankfully the ginger is very mild. Nice.

Bottle thanks to TimE. Pours a clear orange yellow color with a medium white head. A big spicy citrus ginger nose. Huge ginger, sweet biscuit base, a bit of lemons. More ginger. Good.

Bottle shared. Thanks Davido! Ginger dominates the nose with some light lemongrass and faint citrus as it warms. Light bodied with loads of ginger. Finish is warming from the ginger and feels boozy for the 5 percent. A ginger bomb for sure. --- Beer merged from original tick of Natsumikan to Shoga on 17 Jun 2016 at 23:55 - Score: 6
