Draft at Lucky’s. Medium gold, small ring of head. Aroma leads with the grains. Hops follow, but muted. Taste is grassy, mildly sweet, a bit of hops on the back. I was expecting this to be bigger.

Draft. Clear golden body. Frothy white head. Aroma of pine, resin, orange, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A bit light in both aroma and flavor. Taste of grapefruit, orange, citrus and a note of resin. Easy drinking and fairly well balanced.

Tap at Harry’s in San Jose. Restrained on a lot of fronts. Aroma is floral and moderate dank. Slight haze and white head.

On tap at Freshcraft. Pours a hazy orange gold with large frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong dank and citrus. Medium body, juicy hop, lemon zest, grapefruit, light bitterness, very good.

Thanks Zack for the can! Poured into a shotglass showing moderately filtered honey yellow with spare white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of lemon and pineapple with some notes of steel tank. The palate is medium bodied and fully carbonated. Flavors of lemon and grapefruit with light citrus and a very balanced malt backbone. Followed by a moderate bitterness on the finish with another subtle resurgence of grainy malt on the back end. Simple, clean, refreshing, and very well balanced. Just a solid representation of the style.

16 oz can poured at home to a can glass. Glass seems half the size of the tall boy can, but it’s been proven. They are pint glasses. Amazing. Thanks to luttonm for gifting this can. Pours dense cloudy orange color with a mountain of cone foam head. Hop centered aroma, with a pleasant invitation. Mild sweet malt, juicy hops, cool, low bitter finish. With the name and illustrations, I expected a total floral bomb going on here, but it’s not the headliner here. I’d guess more of an orange peel soft bitter over a floral bitter. All adds up to be a refreshing pale, that rivals some of the hop heavy delicious pales here in the NW. If accessible, I would totally get on board with this one. Very nice beer here.

Can shared. Almost clear golden with white head that leaves a thin film. Mango, passion fruit, quite some grass and bitter herbs, a bit of caramel and sweet malts. Under medium sweet and over medium bitter. Medium bodied.
