This dry cider showcases the beauty and complexity of heirloom apples grown on Michigan's Cider Coast. Ripe apple aromas make way for crisp, tart flavors with a hint of yeasty goodness.

It is not as dry, just a good cider.

Green (Granny Smith) apple and grass aroma. Pale yellow with moderate effervescence. Lightly sweet green apple and mildly bitter dry grass flavor. Pleasant.

On tap at Wakefest. Pours gold with no head. The aroma is apple skin and oak. Thin body, tart apple, crisp, light dry finish, very nice.

On tap at Virtue, pours a clear pale blonde, no head. Aroma brings out a nice champagne must, gentle wild yeast and crisp apple skins. Flavour is bone dry, with a very nice brut yeast, mimicking the complexity of a champagne, with crisp apple skins. Bone dry and very complex. Excellent.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clear straw yellow with a quickly dissipating finger of foam. Champagne yeast-like nose with some straw, wet hay aromas. As it warms the funky notes go to the back and apple and some peach open up. Spritzy carbonation with a tart green apple character mid-palate. A touch of brine, then a dry finish. Pretty good for an American cider.

Sampled from the tap at the cidery. Pours a clear straw yellow with visible carbonation but no head. Aroma has sweet and dry apple with a slight oakiness underlying. Flavor has a great dry apple note with a slight oakiness backing.

Can at Ohare. Nose is apples, minerals, lightest honey, some skin. Deep gold. Dry, spirtzy, not so interesting. Light apple, something like beer or champagne yeast. Fake carbonation. No barrel character.

Tasted at a Goose island brewery office bottle share. I needed a sweet cider to rinse out a particularly smoky beer before this. This is a clean, yellow cider color. Apples in the nose. The taste starts with a bit of sugar, but then becomes quite dry. Despite the dry finish, it still has a bit of sweetness in its apple flavor.
