Tap @ Devil Craft Jiyugaoka. Pours clear golden with some white foam on the top, Nose is pungent with hops, covering that sweet fruity body quite well. Some booze oozes out in the beginning but after a few minutes it's gone. Taste ha still some booze - but that's what you get when you brew a dry high abv beer. Super drinkable, especially for the abv. Lots of citrus, honey sweetness, and lemon rind in the finish. Nice one.

Tap at Japan Brewer's Cup 2018. Still had a bit of a cold, so my palate may not have been quite right. Pale orange-gold color. Clear. Grassy hop nose, slightly resinous, pine, citrus, some caramel. Rather heavy. Ok.

Golden color, frothy white head. Big grapefruit, honey, citrusy notes over moderate malt sweetness. Lovely nose. Big grapefruit citrusy bite with slight biscuit and honey character on top of modestly sweet full body backbone. Definitely a northern cali iipa and I love it.
