Very hazy glowing amber golden color. Very juicy nose with tons of grapefruit and white gummy bears. Oh my. Low bitterness, super juicy, superb mouth feel, very well integrated body. High quaffable. Nice grapefruity finish. Heavy body for a “session” and at 5.2%, but if they just called it an ipa I’d be fine with that. Really delicious.

Tap at Takumi. Glowing, cloudy, rather strange orange-red color. Looks cool though. Big fruit nose, not juicy, warm peaches, oranges. Crisp and fruity wheat bread, pommigranite, some cherry, pear. Good.

Tap @ Mikkeller Tokyo. Pours hazy light orange, some white foam on top. Nice fresh hop aroma - with quite a lot of malt character in the nose. Maybe I’m wrong, but getting also some wheat here. Taste has quite nice citric bitterness and body is actually somewhat sturdier compared with usual session IPA’s, this one has 5.2%, so its not too light in abv either. This haze does not really mean NE character though, too malty beer for that. Actually was hoping for a bit smoother palate, this one is OK but it feels a bit heavy and bready malts are not entirely balanced with hops. Still a great summer gulper.
