500ml or so can. Slightly hazy yellow-tan body. Attractive enough, but has some bile, stomach acid off tones in the aroma that pretty much kill it for me. It is close to really nice, but that off tone seriously detracts. Not a beer I would buy again.

500ml can. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a medium, frothy, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of corn, grain, lemon and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of pilsner malt, corn, lemon, grass and a light herbal note in a dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. A pretty good pilsner.

Heller, trocken bitterer Antrunk. Mild würzig. die Betonung liegt auf der, nun allerdings weichen, bitteren Note. Eher wässrig zum mild hopfigen Ende. Gut trinkbar. 10/9/8/8/11/8

The Sampler, Brooklyn can: pours light golden with a white head. Aroma is bread and grass. Taste is lightly bitter with a nice pale malt backbone. Extremely clean and drinkable. Very good pils.

500ml can from somewhere or another. Very poor head and body for a pilsner, I should be seeing a hugely appetizing yellow and lemon meringue head and there ain’t none o’ that on this. The aroma is typical lager, a light cardboard with hints of lemon, again nothing resembling a proper pilsner. Flavour has some nice lemon hints, notes of citrus, sugar; but not a medley or even an orchestra (dare I say it) of flavours that make you respect this beer with the style. Watery finish. This is a total miss in the pilsner department, and would be a bad lager at best. Time to raise the bar a litle, Steamworks.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, clear pale yellow color, lively carbonation, a bit like a soft drink, light fruity candy aroma with a hint of paper, fruity bready flavor, medium herbal bitterness. Really nice and quite hoppy.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Stas. Clear straw. Aroma of grains, lager yeast, and citric and herbal hops. Sweetish flavor with bready malt, lager yeast, and bitterish citric and herbal hops. Quite light-bodied. A nice Pilsener.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Mildly grassy hoppy aroma with an ethereally, minty touch and a subtle grainy malty background. Mildly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly grainy malty base with grassy and subtle fruity hops; dry-ish bitter-sweet finish with grassy notes. Likeable Pilsner interpretation. 14.XI.15
