On tap at PreFunk Boise clear light Orange Amber with just a scant off white head. Decent tropical fruity hop flavors, clean and strong. Finishes well. The 11% is a bit surprising.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 10/5/14
Aroma: The nose is resin/weed hops, some grapefruit as well, and some sweet caramel malts
Appearance: It pours a deep orange color with a small, bubbly off-white head and medium lace
Flavor: Tastes more grapefruit than resin, and sweet malt, hop bitterness is less strong than expected
Palate: It is fairly full bodied, has a stickiness to it, a little heat, and a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a solid IIPA, but not a great one. Tasted a little faded, I'm not sure how old this bottle was (purchased less than a week ago), but this one didn't seem extremely fresh. It is still pretty bitter, but I was expecting over-the-top / in-your-face hops. Still solid, but it sounded better than it tasted. Edit: The bitterness and booze come out as it warms to room temperature. Doesn't change my score. There's still something missing that keeps me from going onto the Higher 3s - Low 4s range.

22oz bottle picked up at BevMo
Pours slightly hazy brown/golden with a medium sized beige head, good lacing. Aroma is malty and pine resin. Taste is sweet, caramel, malty and pine resin
I would say this is old, but the bottle date is 6/03/14 (4 months). Not a fan of this one. But I am a fan of Knee Deep beers, most are solid and hoppy.

From bomber to tulip. Have tried this a couple of times and I donβt think this holds up to their other beers. A little too much on the maltiness, syrupy, and bitterness. Of course that is expected from a triple, but it could still balance better. Lots of pine and resin is nice.

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium off-white head. Aroma of piney hops, a little buttery hops, and a slight fruitiness. Flavour is very sharp, full of soapy floral hops, a little dry pine, and dry biscuity malt. This is quite sharp and astringent, finishing on harsh soapy floral hops. Super dry and quite drinkable. Very solid IPA.
