Tap at Oedo. Great hops in the nose, grassy, herbal, citrus and spice. Flavor a bit of a disappointment though, with DMS and strange spiciness. Starts well, finishes poorly.

Dark amber color. Massive dms in the mouth but nose is fine, still not right.

From tap at Beerfes Kamikochi 2015. Poured hazy pale, thick viscosity, consistent white head. Aroma of fresh and fruity hops, resinous. Taste is also aggressively bitter, very oily and resinous. Although I believe they have used a great load of hops, it does not feel unbalanced, fruity body is standing nicely and maybe - getting some reinforcement from the hop-oils and resins that make the body feel stronger than it actually is. Brilliant beer, big surprise actually.
