Een uitermate uitnodigend goudgeel zwaar blond bier van hoge gisting met 9% alcohol. Zachtzoet met een pittig bittertje. Een echte krachtige tripel met lichte kruidentonen en gemakkelijk doordrinkbaar waardoor dit abdijbier als ’gevaarlijk lekker’ wordt ervaren. Abt Tripel is bier dat hergist op fles.

33cl bottle from Hop op het Hof Bier & Spijsfestival (visited 9.6.2019) in Bergeijk in Nederland. F: huge, egg-white, long lasting. C: gold, hazy with yeasty veils. A: malty, vaguely fruity, honey, spicy, orange peels, bit bready and yeasty. T: malty, fruity, honey, yeasty, spicy, bit bready, red apples peels, medium to full body and higher carbonation, ok for the style yet nothing memorable, taste is better than aroma, partially enjoyed.

Flesje gekregen van Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel helder bier met stevig schuim. Aroma is hooiachtig. Smaak is kruidig. Weinig nasmaak.

Bottle @ home. Gift from Inoven and TomHendriksen. Thanks! A bit unclear dark golden color, medium sized white off-white head. Smell and taste malts, something a bit weird that reminds me a little of applejuice or apple peel, yeasty and some herbs or spices. Both slightly sweetish and bitter. Overall: I don’t like.

6 3 7 3 13 Bottle shared at THT June ’17. Hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of coriander, citrus, yeast and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [16/06/2017]

Bottle at home, hazy dark orange beer, large head. Aroma is citrus, spices, yeast, small hint of malt. Taste is the same, sweetbitter, not bad.

Bottle shared at THT. Slight hazy golden with white head. Lots of coriander, some marzipan and sweet malts, spicy yeast, sugar, light bready. Quite sweet with soft bitterness. Over medium bodied.

Fles gekocht bij het Berne proeflokaal. Het is een goudgeel bier met een blonde schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige wat zoete smaak.
