Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016 day 1. Black with light tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts. Ash, charcoal. Honey, resin. Medium sweet, light to medium bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Very dry and roasted. Ashy finish.

330ml Bottle - Black with a foamy head. Liquorice, roasted malt, soap and some slightly smoky notes in the aroma. Hoppy, roasted and fruity taste with fudge, raisins, liquorice and soapy hops.

Pours deep brown, edging on black. Aroma is thick, a bit ashy but still packing some hop character, blending with roast. Bitterness coming also from roasted malts, full on roast, malty body and made better with some good amount of hops. Maybe a bit ashy but still good.

Bottle, shared by suurjuust, thanks! Pours black with light brown head. Aroma is roast, smoke, hops. Flavor is bitter, smoke, roast, coffee. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: very nice brew.

Sinful black color with a fine beige head that leaves some lacing down the glass. Coffee, roasted, fruity and grapefruit hoppy aroma. Medium + body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Soft to average carbonation. Oily texture. Nice smooth flavor. Coffee, roasted, fruity, grapefruit hoppy and chocolate. Lovley tasty and blanced ale.

33cl bottle bought at the brewpub. Pours black with a moderate, but lasting beige head. Hoppy aroma with roasted malt, licorice, dark chocolate, citrus, pine and hints of herbs and coffee. Medium sweet with nice flavour intensity and good balance between hoppy and dark malty flavours. Nice and quite solid bitterness. Quite delicious BIPA!
