Tap at bungalow. Copper-orange, hazy, with a fine, low head. Nose is malty but dry, minerals, a bit of funk, orange, some caramel. Sweet, fruity flavor, Belgian-like yeast. Estery, oranges, melon. Yeast is a bit funky. A bit sweeter than I was hoping for, light bitterness in the finish. Ok.

Tap at Oedo. Slighty hazy toffee brown with a small ring of beige foam. Floral nose with some light caramel notes as it warms. Light and easy drinking on the palate but the floral notes really go well with the caramel and light peppery hops. Dry-ish finish. Kind of a new take on the style. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hanakin Bitter on 02 May 2016 at 18:23 - Score: 7
