Bottle generously shared by the master at Awashima. Super funky and citrus aroma. Loads of fruit, Almost a bit spicy. Crazy taste, marmalade loads of fruit, bit sour, bit spicy. Peach. Tropical. Beautiful. Exactly what I needed at that stage. (Maybe I was a bit pissed...)

Hazy amber color. So well defined fruity nose that is like candied oranges, huge Zeasty character. So massively interesting nose. Medium dry carbonation. Massive big citrusy kinkan finish. Wow this is amazing.one of the best fruit beers I’ve ever had. Just so Zeasty and funky. Amazing.

Bottle by mail. Interesting nose: kinkan, some caramel, honey, biscuits. Lovely flavors: citrus, biscuit, some chocolate, a bit of barnyard, just a touch, hay. Very dry and slightly tart. Cloudy, deep gold. Soft carbonation. Crisp yet rather full body. A great, fun beer.

Bottle shared. Thanks Biirusaikou! Nose is pure tart kinkan with some funky lambic notes of must and cobwebs. Above average carbonation with a slightly pulpy, juicy mouthfeel. Good kinkan zesty bitterness along with good citric acid and tartness. The fruit got a little funky during fermentation but it gives it a nice tart edge that enhances the beer and works out in the end. Some fermented sweetness, but overall a bitter and tart beer. Very good end result. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kinkan Blond on 26 Mar 2016 at 12:42 - Score: 8. Original review text: Funky, tart, kind of like a light lambic. Fruit bread on the palate. Great carbonation. Another great fruit beer from Yorocco.

Kinkan Blonde 6% Pours a deep cloudy orange with an off-white head of foam and it had a huge aroma of kinkan - seriously fantasticly fresh fruit and a honeyed biscuit malt character. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. It’s got a tart citrusy bite from the kinkan and a bit of a light vienna/biscuit malt. Tarter than expected, sweet enough. I liked it alot. I had no idea this was 6%, it drank way lighter feeling than that.
