Rich, smooth, with hints of dark chocolate and cinnamon with a bit of fruitiness. This year we used German Ale yeast instead of our house lager yeast, which is probably more historically accurate, and we are pleased with the results. Unfortunately the TTB would not let us say "Baltic Porter" on the label so even though the label says "Dark Lagered Ale" this beer was still done in the style of a Baltic Porter.

Bottle from City Beer. Big, chewy fidge nose, chocolate. Dark brown with pretty lace. Chewy malts, rich, juicy fudge, rich and tasty, full-on malt flavor and body.
